>get paid a pretty good salary
>enjoy 6 weeks vacation and full benefits
>force myself to do about 10 hours of work a week
I'm worried that my gravy train might dry up or my employer might expect me to take on more responsibilities in the future, but it's hard to bring myself to wagecuck more than the bare minimum. Anyone else in or been in this situation?

what do you do? and what's a pretty good salary?
If you do something specialized sometimes you just get paid to be there if things go wrong

I'm in the same boat, except I make $37.65/hr and don't really care about my job. I work 15 hours a week, tops, but clock in for 45-48 to get some of that OT.
And they said a Psychology degree was a waste of time

Nice. Nah keep milking it.
Just be aware they might drop the hammer one day and axe you. So have another job ready.
I knew a guy in payroll sales that job hopped. He would get an offer for like $70k a year, would do fuck all until he was fired, then just hop to another firm.

Nice.
I do somewhat care about my job as I have a family to support and I'd probably have to work a lot more (at least initially) if I had to find a new one.
Ideally I'd like to get some side projects producing money so I'd be less dependent on wagecucking, but it's incredibly difficult to make money software developing on your own.

That's hardly time to develop anything beyond adding if statements to existing programs. What kind of code are you actually writing?

For the most part I'm maintaining and slowly enhancing an assortment of longer term minor internal projects.
