If I'm about to pick a major in college and am pretty smart, willing to work hard and interested in economics, math, physics, programming, law and philosophy, what degree should I pursue? What should I aim to do in the future and what should I be learning?

What do you like doing in your free time
If I had the opportunity I'd have busted my ass and gone to med school. My friends who did it are rich and they don't even know how to properly invest their money.

terrible advice, maybe he likes playing basketball despite being a midget

worst advice ever just because if you enjoy striping cables your financial standard of living will be shit. All the areas yo mentioned have pretty nice employability and you'll get a high salary if you get a top degree average grade and seize opportunities. Finally, if I were you I would study a double degree like economics and law.

Read, program, play vidya and other unrelated things. I don't really think this is great advice because who does something law related in their free time?

I don't think being a doctor would be my thing. Biology is really interesting, but actually being a surgeon or something is a bit too much I think.

I'm really thinking a double degree with economics is a good idea. I'm just not sure about law. It would tie me to one country a career as a lawyer seems kinda restrictive. But also very interesting and the work seems fun.
I'm also very unsure about programming. It feels like maybe you get tired after doing it profesionally for a few years. I mean, there is not much variation. Physics+economics could maybe be a good combo?

You're not thinking of doing personal projects and developing apps? Are you just trying to be a wageslave?

Ideally I want to build something of my own, but I can't really expect that so I'm shooting for something that would give me the opportunity to start something of my own while also giving possibility for wage slave jobs I would be interested in.
But just programming and writing code all day could get boring, I think. Not much variation compared to other fields.

Wagecuck tier: work 60 hours a week for 120k a year salaried
I'm my own boss tier: learn how to draw and code, make your own phone game, put a free version and a paid version without apps up for 5.00, also charge microtransactions in your game, make some kind of console game like shovel knight or minecraft or w/e, when the franchise becomes successful enough sell it for millions
As long as it pays well I don't care what it is tier: physical therapist or physicians assistant

Maybe he does some sort of financial fraud as a hobby and looks for loopholes
