Can you redpill me on acorn.
Why would I put money here when I can use Vanguard ETFs for cheaper fees? Does the money come out automatically after you buy something?
Any way I wait to hear from you guys.
It's for retarded normies who wouldn't invest anything without an app forcing them to
if you are capable of just investing without being forced then do that instead

I like it because it lets me invest in a diverse portfolio with small dollar amount increments. If you don't have a lot of upfront capital it's convenient to invest 5 bucks a day. Better return than a savings account for a nice little rainy day fund.
I think fintech is gonna blow up in the years to come and they'll probably add a lot more of the "Found Money" offers.
whats "aggressive" xDDDDDDDDDD coca cola?? xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Still better than a saving account at most banks. I put about $500 in last summer it's almost $1200 I do uses a credit card for most of my purchases and it saves your extra change so that's a factor too. Still nice passive saving. Idk if you kinda just set it and forget it. you build up a nice little chunk of change over time

The aggressive option just ensures that your 40% allocation in US Equities is split 25-15 across small caps - large caps respectively. Nothing really aggressive about being 30% in real estate funds and I think their emerging markets equities exposure (20%) is too high as well. Right now the truly aggressive play would be to go a lot heavier on the Trump economy and allocate more to US equities.

it is for people who have no self control or financial experience.
The arguement here is if one doesn't have the time to do any investing, they can at least get something out of investing while using it in Acorn.
