There are many MANY people that lie their fucking asses off on facebook. My uncle's wife has literally posted some of my shit (cattle, cars, etc.) on her wall. My cousins have talked about things that belong to my grandparents (houses, ranches, etc.) as if they were rich as fuck when really they don't even have jobs.

I'm 28 in a few days and I already feel that creeping death. I don't post my personal shit on facebook though and use it mainly for memeing on my friends from the Navy and grab assing with people about hunting and cars. I woke up this morning and I'm going to load some flooring samples up into my car and I'm gonna go sell my fucking ass off because I suddenly feel like I need to make some more god damned money.

This. Facebook/Instagram and the rest of social media is pretty much a facade. Women are especially concerned about this kind of stuff, in fact the more attractive they are generally the more active they are on Instagram.

Half of going out consists of taking photos now. Photos and your image is just as important as actual socializing to these people.

We live in a weird time. When people used to go out they would never take into account photos of their activities to be put on a network where everyone can see it. I dont think its natural. Too much pressure, and its too much exposure. I am comfortable just living my life, thats why my FB is relatively inactive and I dont even have an IG.
