Being a co-founder, he's hardly a traditional outside investor. I don't know his initial investment, but his ROI is likely still god-tier.

Nope, he never had those 2 billions. It was just paper profits. Worthless numbers. And as a co-founder and board member he can't exactly sell his 35% stake on a whim while the price is high, a) because that volume would crash the market and b) it would send a *horrible* signal to other investors (also crashing the market).
