So I'm completely new to investing and want to know where you guys invest. On what websites etc.
I live in Scandinavia and the cheapest option at my bank costs 20 $ a month and then I can buy stocks and shares myself without their guidance. I can buy shares from 16 different countries.
If I earn something on the investments I have to pay 27 % taxes and after I've earned 10 000 $ I have to pay 42 % taxes of what I earn.
Isn't that a ripoff? To pay 20 $ a month for an account where I can invest my money? What do you pay for your account?
So far I haven't found any other websites where I can invest living in Scandinavia. In the UK I could have an ISA account and pay no taxes for the earnings on investments.
Someone there?
Jesus, investing in Euroland sucks.
My brokerage account costs NOTHING to open and keep open. The only time I pay is when I trade, and it's $7.99 a trade. When I pay taxes, I pay WAY less than you do.

Well Scanidavia is a socialist hellhole (as are many yuro countries, though don't think any are as bad as Sweden), how do you expect Achmed to feed his family of 15 without working if Sven doesn't pay his dues

With the response rate I got I assume we don't have some clever shortcut around the taxes and fees here in Scandinavia as other countries have

Jesus fucking Christ what a goddamn shithole.
You don't have Nordnet in Denmark? Here in Funland we do, I pay nothing to keep it open, and then 0.2% of the trade amount per trade (depending on market).

How else would the nordcucks pay to feed Ahmed and Freja's children?

Ikr. Well ofc we also get something out of it but it can be quiet annoying.

I just googled and we do. Nice. Now I can get around the 20 $ fee every month that I would pay at my bank. Still have to pay tax but whatever, I'm not gonna earn more than 10 000 $ in yields in a year anyways. Thanks

enough with the /pol/ jokes lol
Try Interactive Brokers. You need to start with $10k, fees are min $10/mo and trades cost around $1.

Huh. I'm glad my ancestors left when Germans took Northern Schleswig.
In the Netherlands there is no money/month at most brokers.
We really are the waterjews.

looks great they have many options to buy. Still not the one I really considered (government bonds in Iceland) but many more than NordNet. 10k $ is a lot though.. thanks
