Total Loss-to-Date: ~$6,000.00
Total Bankroll-to-Date: +$26,000.00

My bad. I'm not internet cool like you, Anon.
>craps w/ a shooting team of three other folks
>color-in $300 to $500
>start slow with wins on the PL and then use house money to press up to max odds behind the line
>get between two to three consistent wins then spread to Places on 6/8
>collect on first hits
>parlay the second hits
>once cheques have doubled, increase by one unit on places
>only bet my team and controlled shooters
>if table goes hot, fuck around with hardways if shooter has shot more than two points
>if table is chop, same strategy from the dark side with Lays on 4/10 on comeout
>still keep Places on 6/8 with one unit DC no travel to 6/8 if shot
Pic related is victory snapshot from my most recent Vegas trip. We were on fire that day. This was taken just after returning from the cage.

Yeah man, Craps and Blackjack are the only games to play in the casino if you actually want to win something. The rest are just for fun. I mainly focus on Craps because I find it more exciting than Blackjack, but I've played all the other games as well.
>>1776639
Do you always bet the home?
>>1776644
It depends on how the table is going and how the people at the table are shooting.
Typically, if you walk up to a table, everyone is quiet and there's no excitement to be heard then that's a good indicator that the dice are cold, or the table is choppy.
If that's the case then hang back for a while, or play the Don't. I always bet the dice to pass when I'm shooting because you gotta have a little faith and confidence. Plus I don't like getting the evil eye for shooting from the Don't.

I have a 45k$ worth of a crypto portfolio. I think that counts as gambling.
I'm a holder though, no trading.
>>1776674
If you have 34k to "play around with" that qualifies as rich.
To give you a comparison, 34k is 34 pairs of Balmain jeans.
Let that sink in.
>>1777071
thanks for explaining what "rich" means to someone who retired after working at a hedge fund lol
I went to a casino in Niagara yesterday. Tables area is so full so it's literally uncomfortable to play for awhile.
I know slots are mindless and retarded, but I go to the high limit area before I leave and play $50/spin and sometimes hit something big (not uncommon to hit $1000+ in 10 mins or so on these machines)

And despite your imaginary success you're still a faggot posting on /biz/. Hmm really makes me think.
>>1776631
Ive tried for awhile trying to understand craps but it just won't stick.
>>1777334
My success is actually quite tangible, and yes I am posting and lurking on this forum to get some insight on cryptocurrencies
>>1777301
What percentage of populations work at hedge funds?
>>1776631
so basically you just got lucky
>>1777352
so what you're saying is you're rich but not rich enough?

Lucky donk general?
Isn't craps a dice throwing game?
>>1776619
Its deep web slang for strato-cumulonimbus. He wants to see your photos of clouds, op. If you're going to, you should do it quickly while the mods are asleep.
>>1777301
Translated: I got fired from my groundskeeper job
gonna bet superbowl prop tonight risking $100 to win $232.50, $132.50 profit
>>1777317
Remember: Always play max credits on all lines. It's the higher likelihood of hitting something substantial.

Craps is simple. The layout just looks complicated.
The whole game boils down to "Roll the same number twice before you roll a 7."
It's played in rounds. There are two parts to the round.
>Part 1: The Come-Out Roll
This is the first throw that establishes the number that you have to roll again before 7 comes up.
If you roll 7 or 11 on this part of the turn, you automatically win and the round is over.
If you roll 2, 3 or 12 on this part of the turn, you automatically lose and the round is over.
If you roll any other number, then that number becomes "The Point" and the game is on.
>Part 2: Shooting for The Point
Now you have an unlimited amount of times to throw the dice to try and roll The Point. If you roll 7 then you lose.
As you're rolling for The Point, you can place side bets on any other numbers that you think will come up. Most of the bets pay more than one to one.
That's pretty much the simple explanation.
>>1777411
Nope. I play with fairly consistent wins and try to exhibit some self control on the table instead of chasing bets and making bad bets with high house edge.
>>1777559
That day I bought in with $200.00
>>1777861
Yes. There's skill in learning to throw the dice correctly.
>>1777893
Nice! Good luck Anon. Who do you have to win?
I wonder where all the Blackjack and Poker shills are?
I guess it doesn't really count as gambling, but I made 150.000$ in online poker and about 45.000€ in live cash games.
>Look at how much money I piss away for fun guys!
>>1776631
Literally what
.t 22 yo degenerate slot player
Poker today
26'000 hands (12 hours 8 tabling)
All in adjusted $38.68
Net won -$5.14
Lmao what a day..
>>1779444
It definitely is. I haven't looked into the online casinos too much because for whatever reason I feel like they are rigged more, but those wins don't sound too bad. Is the dynamic the same when playing poker online? How do you read the room and strategize accordingly?

It's betting lingo for Craps.
PL = Pass Line (The Ante to shoot the dice. You're betting on the shooter to win.)
Odds Behind the Line = The side bet you use to increase the payout on your initial Ante
Place Bets = There are six boxes on the top part of the layout. These boxes have 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. If you "Place the X," it means you are putting up a side bet that one of those numbers will hit during the course of the roll.
Cheques = Betting Tokens. They are only referred to as "Chips" in Poker. In the rest of the casino they are "Cheques."
Parlay = When a bet hits, take that winning wager and place it on top of the current bet. Said another way, increasing the current bet with the winning bet.
Unit = the amount you're betting (i.e.: $10 minimum table. The "unit" is $10.)
Hardways = The Craps table term for rolling doubles. Doubles pay 10-for-1 or 8-for-1 depending on what set of doubles you're betting.
The rest of the lingo is for advanced play. Basically playing the game with the rules reversed because you're playing with the house instead of against it.
Look at a Craps Table Layout. It will make more sense.
Also, if you play slots remember to play max credits all lines. Progressive Jackpot machines are the better bet.

Man... All that grinding and nothing to show for it. Those kinds of days suck. At least you didn't go on full tilt.
All these folks gambling in the stock market and crypto, but none of them gamble proper as well?
