Mexibros, redpill me on so-called silicon valley of Mx. Good idea to start a biz there? Is the average mexican developer smart/capable?
>is the average mexican developer smart/capable?

Actual citizen from Guadalajara here working for SAP (abap) here
We are not Sillicon Valley for being genious developers , the thing here is that we´re above average developers (for mexico standarts) aaand we are cheap to hire.
I Wouldn´t recomend STARTING here , however a lot of succesfull startups that originated in the US and then moved here are getting a lot of support from the goverment.
Also , offer flexible working hours and we will sell our soul to you

I live in Texas and we get a lot of smart students here from Mexico that come study here and end up staying here. I hear a lot of complaints about Mexico not investing in its own infrastructure and how hard the government makes it on workers. Have you had a different experience?

Can confirm, government is shit, infrastructure is shit, any half-brained Mexican has as a priority getting out of here asap
