Thought I could make it big in trading so I quit my stable job 2 years ago and become a full time day / swing trader with $100,000 starting capital I saved up over the years.
Today my account officially went to 0....
I should have cashed out my $20,000 profit last year once Trump won as it was the best I could do, but I got greedy and just kept my positions open.
What do now /biz/? I doubt I can get my old job back with a 2 year gap in my CV doing this shit.

If you spend all your capital on options which go bust, fine. Or if you spend all your capital on penny stocks for companies which go bust, fine.
But surely if you mainly have NASDAQ stocks...bonds...even Bitcoin...your chances of going completely bust are minimal, right? Even if you're swing trading NASDAQs and go in the red....just wait, no? Even in the event of a complete market crash you'd more than likely just have to wait a few years to be in the black again...right?
OP just fake your gap or else find work relevant to the knowledge you gained trading. You might have lost all your money but presumably you learned a lot.
