>implying art is a bad investment
If you have a decent eye for up and coming talent there's vast amounts of money to be made, why do you think all proper rich people have art collections, they almost always go up in value if you aren't retarded. My mum owns an art gallery and literally every artist she represents raised their prices every year, the secondary market reflects those changes.
is she eating a baby pokemon?
But if I can trade dgaz/ugaz correcty a few times in a row I would make millions...

Art isn't a good investment. Picasso's fluctuate in price. Public interest in an artist changes after a decade. You have to report the value of your paintings to the government, and it's subjective. Some people have to donate their inherited paintings to museums because they literally can't afford to pay taxes on them. That, and appraisers are so terrified of accidentally appraising a counterfeit they sometimes refuse to make an appraisal.

But that's the best part of it, it's so easy to misrepresent the value of art, not on shit like Picasso obviously but the vast majority of artists are unknown to the general public and the government is none the wiser to their value
That's a big rice ball
