Hey all, I work for one of the big 4 accounting firms and I just finished paying off my student loans. I've decided to direct that monthly payment into a brokerage account.
Little more background: I work in an advisory capacity as a Cybersecurity consultant. I'm not held to all the independence restrictions an auditor is, but the firm I work for is one of the more strict of the four. Given all the restrictions I'm subject to, what are some general tips / advice you have with respect to investing?
I'm particularly attracted to making some volatility plays and doing whatever I can to over-leverage myself given I'm only 24 and have a small amount of initial capital to work with.

What degree did you get, from what school, and is it a master's or just a bachelor's?

Private school is a bitch nigger. Also not an athlete and not black, so I was shit out of luck from the aid department.
Either way, you're just baiting without giving any real advice. The question would still stand if I was 30 and entering the investment world

Expensive private school didn't give you the tools you need but /biz/ will?
I'm still paying off my private school student loans 15 years after I graduated. Why would I pay off a 3.5-4% loan early when I can safely average a higher return with that money? Do you pay down your mortgage early as well?
