Has anyone heard of this or considered it?

This should be right up everyone's alley. They're in beta right now, though, so they only have one offering, but it looks good and it's been well received so far.

Get back to me when they have an offering for a game that will let me larp as a nazi mowing down commie scum with my MG42, or drop nukes from B52's on mecca. Most games are stale rehash garbage these days, want something new edgy and fun.

yup, that's the point of these crowdfunding websites. Adding equity and revenue sharing into the mix is a bigger incentive for more investment and helps promotion of the game, due to the ownership stake. Something new and better always comes when there's a good profit motive.

Sounds like a good idea. I would love to put some of my money down on games BUT...
Look at the website. It's the same Wordpress or whatever theme that I've seen on thousands of websites. Thousands. Just from that you can instantly tell this isn't something that you want to put your money towards. That's just a really, really bad sign. Maybe in the far future I will invest when this platform has been proven, but right now it just looks like some dude in his basement running a scam.
