Hi /biz/ I was just wondering something about the stock market. Couldn't it be possible to never lose money with a stock? Like just wait until it goes back up. I understand some businesses may go bankrupt and some don't have enough volume. But with big company's like apple couldn't you just wait until its positive?

take a look at the stock value of MSFT since the begining, it took 15 years for them to get back to 2000 levels and they have been growing 30% per year all that time.

So yes, if you bought in 2000 and held for 15 years you would not have "lost money". I doubt you would feel like a winner though
