What are some interesting jobs in tech? I'm studying computer science but I don't want to be a code monkey. I'd rather not work in a homogenous "IT environment" but rather use my expertise working with a diverse set of people. Something different, but challenging.
Any advice on what to study and learn?

Skip the bullshit programming classes.
Take CS theory, datascience, machine learning and math (probability, numerical linear algebra, optimization)
Given the option of taking an app development course and electromagnetism, you should pick electromagnetism.
Languages and frameworks are constantly changing. If you study the fundamentals, you will always be in demand.
>don't want to be a code monkey
