best stock trading platform?
Probably metatrader
I use Scottrade and am paying $7 per trade.
Am I getting fucked?

Not bad
___
Metatrader is really crappy and if you need advanced features you'll need to learn how to code in MQL and C++ (Dlls) for developing advanced systems that Metatrader doesn't have.
Btw metatrader is designed to be a bridge between the broker and the market and they are all crooks, they can hit intencionally your Stop Loss even if in the real market your trade will be still open.
$7 for trade it's an ok price.
Plataforms... i think the best is TWS with Interactive Brokers o FIX-Api w/ propietary software.

>Charles Schwab
>Fidelity
I use Schwab for brokerage, Fidelity for my 401k and roth IRA
I'm using IB TWS for day trading, however Amiretrade TOS is way more organized and simpler, if only they don't charge high commission, I would recommended their platform.

This to the T,
Also the stability and short avaliability on TOS is absolute garbage compared to IB
Fidelity, unless you're a day trader, in which case I don't know but I doubt it's fidelity
I use Interactive Brokers

Robinhood.

Second as a poor fag. Enjoy paying $8 for the privilege of trading.

robinhood if ur only day trading one stock
I just use my credit unions brokage because its convenient I can do some research and analysis with them and its worth the 9$ commissions but I'm not a poorfag.
If I was I would use Robinhood and just figure it out on my own. Remember your investments are insured up to 250,000$ if your broker goes bankrupt or vanishes with your money.
