I sold 400-1000 word articles about three years ago. I'd love to get back at it again, would you hire me? I used to write about World Of Warcraft and other MMOs although i could write about literally anything.

I also wrote a few articles back in the day, but I never sold them - just gave them away in order to get something published. It never amounted to anything, though.

I also took some pictures that I tried to sell to local newspapers but I never got any bites.

Why don't you make your own website and publish it yourself?
If you enjoy writing, post them on your website, add some google ads and just let it sit and simmer. After some time (a lot) you just might start getting visitors.

To be honest I have low self-esteem, so I don't see anyone being interested in my writings. I've written the idea off as a waste of time.

My writings included a comparison piece regarding the tech portrayed in Back To The Future vs. real tech today, some fiction pieces that were borderline fanfiction, and puff pieces about the local lighthouse and accompanying State Park.

I used to get $10-25 per article, depending on the quality and effort i put into it. Sometime he just wanted a 200 word about making gold, i wrote some stuff and got 10 bucks. He also asked for some higher quality stuff and that got me more $$$.

I live in Sweden and don't have any personal experience of those sadly. What i could do is research about it but i dont think that my content would be as high quality as someone who has actually done it in person.
