Your credit rating is now crap but it will not kill you.
Lets hope you are not looking to take out any form of finance in the near future.
>>1725358
not gonna be taking any form of finance for like the next 2 years
am i good?
will it rebound by then?
>"forget" for two solid months
>>1725363
If your in the UK it takes 6 years to be removed from your credit file.
Honestly not sure, depends on what you are looking to finance, your credit balance at the time, lending criteria ect.
>>1725306
Why?
>Have flexiloan
>all payments are on the principal
>wages go in
>payments on card
>pay off card in full every month
A penny saved is a penny earned.

Your credit score is probably going to drop around 100 points considering you're 40 days late and missed two payments. Could be worse, but its not good. It should crawl back up over a couple of years assuming you make your payments. Can you set up email/text alerts with your credit card company? I have a text alert 5 days before the due date if I haven't made a payment.

Buy bitcoin
>>1725296
you're good
if you are a bit forgetful, get the visa app and set payments to automatic per month

i remember logging into online banking to pay it in november but idk why i didnt, just literally forgot
I used to get those paper bills but then they started charging me $3 a month for a paper bill so i decided to just go paperless cuz waste of $36/year
im gonna set up that auto payment thing, i learned how to do it earlier on online banking, the thing is, you have to input a certain amount of money to automatically transfer, so some months i might be using more, and some months i wont use at all, it's very weird how i use my card, so i dont want to just send money when there's no balance
i'll call the bank and see if they can set up an auto minimum, or auto balance transfer from my chequing to my credit account for me on their end

How about this one:
>be me
>perfect credit. Score is about 790. Never in my life miss a payment.
>want to buy a house
>wow credit looks great, you're preapproved
>find house
>go through loan process
>oh anon because your credit tanked your interest rate went up as did your mortgage insurance
Turns out US Bank charged me a 2 dollar penalty fee for no reason five months after I had stopped using their credit card. Because I didn't know I had a balance I didn't pay and it ended up being reported as a late payment to all three credit agencies.
When I logged into my US Bank account they had already reversed the fee, without me ever asking them to. But yeah they were kind enough to fuck my credit over a 2 dollar error on their part. They also refused to write a letter to my creditor to explain the situation.
Thinking about suing desu
