Hey biz
I'm looking for a free, professional and real time bio stock alert that alerts me on all nano to small cap biotechs on Nasdaq. Criteria would be price and volume
If I can't find anything I will put an alert for each stock myself by hand in TWS (IB's trading software) but I'd like to avoid that. Is there maybe a script that would be easy to do that? Or can you mass import alerts or symbols somehow?

>real time
nothing free exists for real time. there will always be a delay

I mean I got real time data with my broker and I'd want the alerts in my software, so if that could be connected/used thatd be great
write your own mass-market script and sell it to /biz/ and get rich. That's a how-to-get-rich thread in the making right there

learn python, then use this
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/googlefinance

my broker (IB) allows a max of 100 ticket quotes, would that somehow interfere with my alerts (i want roughly 700 symbols). should I just go ahead and use gfinance?
I dont have any idea about python or programming, can I do such a kind of application on my own w/ yt videos/tuts? or would it be too complex?
wouldnt it be simpler to just make custom alerts within my broker software? (surely would take me 1-2 days for 700 symbols), can I do a program in the same time?
also do you know if google finance api is able to discern between at the ask bought or at bid sold prices (red/green)?
and is google finance api able to set parameters based on historical data (0-2 months?)
anyone done something similar already?
