He's the CEO of a holding company. What does a holding company do? They literally just invest in other shit.

A growth investor is one who invests in companies he thinks will grow very by a large amount. A value investor is a vaguer term meaning one who buys a company he thinks is selling a lot less per share than its actually worth. They're not mutually exclusive, Buffett is both.

It's mostly depends on how skilled you are.
