>tfw have computer
>tfw still nothing beats ti-84 from high school for quick computations
I still use one of these on a daily basis. Its for that 20 second moment where you need to do quick financial calculations without a computer. It saves just a few key strokes if you're used to the format. They also make one with algebraic notation

Furthermore its good to calculate how many days between x and x day. Then calculate some time value of money problem with that amount of days. More of a practical tool for finance. Excel is great as well if your focus is repetition.

Reverse polish notation remains the best way to calculate items.
Unlike other calculators, your mind is still involved in the math.
When you go
>5 ENTER
>5 ENTER
>PLUS
You're mind is still thinking mathematically. If you're ever dealing with something requiring in-depth analysis and do not want to lose your train of though this is the ideal way to do it.
HAD you posted any other calculator, I would have been inclined to agree with you.
I only keep an RPN calculator on my desk. I highly suggest /biz/ buys any HP RPN calculator.
