Because my father teaches me that you should try to haggle as most ppl in bussiness do that here. I live in Lithuania btw

I'm in the US. I don't sell to the public though. I've noticed people will always try to haggle, businesses rarely do.

wierd, here it's the opposite, ppl don't haggle for prices in supermarkets, shops etc. unless u go to bazaar or something, but I haven't seen anyone haggling in bazaars either.
However in business everybody haggles maybe because everybody is in debt and staying afloat is hard, one medium-major mistake and ur done.

here businesses will get a bunch of quotes and usually take the cheapest quote as-is.

most of the businesses I deal with don't have a single owner though. If one person owns the business they're way more likely to try to haggle.

also most businesses I deal with aren't poor by any means. So they can afford to pay without haggling. And haggling can result in worse quality work. Businesses understand they get what they pay for and they don't want inferior work so they don't offer inferior pay.

yeah that's what i've been doing cuz i am a pansy at haggling. But my father is pushing me to do haggling too.
