If shit hits the fan, you've got a homestead and can scavange innawoods. If political and corporate corruption gets cleaned up due to meme magic, your ETFs might go to da moon. It's the best of both worlds and protects you from both.

some work like music, programming and writing is cheap to reproduce. If you can succeed in a field like this the rewards can roll in exponentially. Don't start a business that is just a job. Start a business with an exit plan.

To be honest, I kind of just want to escape from here and go live a cheap place living only on interests from my savings. I'm tired of working and family obligations.
