Seems like every college graduate would give their left ball sack to be one. I heard the pay is not even that great and takes a long while before you start earning good money.

Just wondering if someone working in the industry can describe what exactly they do in their job? Is it basically writing reports all day and doing powerpoint presentations in front of clients?

Honestly. They're shit, and an excuse for senior and middle management to kick the can down the road another two years without being personally responsible for implementation.
