Definitely more than enough.
Like I said before, most of your cost will be ordering at least 1 item as a test product before starting to sell them. And that should add up to 300-400 if you have around 20-30 items in your store. Then you will have small costs such as domain registration and Shopify. The rest is just marketing.
We started with $1250 and still had around $300 leftover from the initial fund.
