I'm in highschool and have a job, 5k a year. I have nothing to do with the money, and college isn't an issue seeing as I'm joining the military afterwords. So what specifically do I do in this situation?

Enjoy your last few months as a free man. During basic and there on after you're doing everything under the orders of a superior. Literally everything. I'd say if you don't need the money. Just kick it till then. Find some people to chill with to kill the time and make memories.
