I'm gonna have around 500 USD once I sell my computer. Should I invest it into steroids or stocks? I'd love to make some money but I'd be afraid of losing it because I have no previous investing experience. Hard choice.

The "ROI" on the roid will be greater than stocks/bonds by several orders of magnitude. That being said, I would put it in something like betterment(if the time horizon is long enough) or a money market account(if the time horizon is shorter. No pain no gain!
