Quality control.
Not being delivered on time.
Revisions and getting things fixed.
Dealing with customers when you don't have direct control over product.
You'll mostly likely get a crappy product but I never did outsource from India. Only thing I'll outsource is the web design. I'll handle the actually back end coding.

Go ahead but it will be difficult.
1) You have to find some people in India willing to do the work. Come to an arrangement of how much work you will give them, how much they will paid, etc.
2) You have to set up a company. Give yourself a name. Set prices for your websites.
3) You have to find some work. Go out and there and pound the pavements until you find someone who wants a website done.
4) Once you've got some work you need to give the client a realistic timeframe of when it will be done by - and you've got make sure you can cover that with the amount of developers you have. Tell Rajesh to get to work, but you'll have to monitor his progress if you want to hit your deadline.
5) Oops, Rajesh has no idea what the fuck he's doing - you told him to make it mobile responsive but he's got no fucking clue what that means. You hoped he would use a modern technology but he's used procedural PHP, and it's version 4 or something ridiculously old, so most hosting providers won't even support it.
6) Yeah, you'll have to work out all that shit. But hey, it could be a viable business plan. As you say there is probably a margin in it. The problem is that you will have to put in a lot of work to make it happen.
