I have a empty cup from my local cinema at home. I always put a can or small bottle in it before going in. They just assume I bought it.
Every 2-3 years I actually have to buy a new cup because cups with old ass Shrek or Inception ads seem suspicious.

For snacks I use my pockets and jacket. When I was younger I used to put it into my school bag and just say I'm sleeping at a friends house or something so bigger snacks like chips could fit in. They sometimes looked into my bag but I stuffed it under my books and a blanket so they never knew.
