10 Seconds to Explain Why Bitcoin Is Not a Ponzi Scheme
the burden of proof is on the prosecution, motherfucker. you tell me why it is

>debating validity of a currency
>burden of proof is on the prosecution
being this delusional

All currency is a ponzi scheme, friend.

Ponzi schemes are run for the benefit of people operating them, they are fraudulent enterprises. Bitcoin is more akin to an overhyped penny stock or Beanie Babies - an asset with price driven almost entirely by speculation and "greater fool theory" that vastly exceeds its real value.

>Bitcoin = beanie babies
No. CS:GO skins are akin to beanie babies.
Beanie babies didn't have VC investors and tech startups. Let's face the fact that vendor acceptance of btc is spreading, and that in all likelihood btc isn't going away any time soon.

>Beanie babies didn't have VC investors and tech startups.
Startups that mostly failed to make a sustainable profit and just eat through capital provided by VC funds.
>and that in all likelihood btc isn't going away any time soon.
I don't know what timeframe you mean by "soon" and certainly I'm not attempting to offer any specific forecast. The two things supporting bitcoin are its use case in cybercrime (darknet markets, ransomware etc.) and libertarian hype. As soon as cybercriminals find a better payment method and libertarians grow disillusioned bitcoin is doomed, it cannot compete for market share in legal payments.
