If I buy $1000 worth of shares for either of these companies, will I become rich?
No because even if in the unlikely event they were to skyrocket to multiple hundreds of a percentage the end result wouldn't be enough to make you rich.

what would my end result be?

If it skyrocketed up 1000%, you'd still only make out with $10k.

>We'll use tax definition of rich $250k
>AMD $10/share = 100 shares
>You'll need those shares to reach $2k each
>AMDs highest point in its history is $42
>he didnt get on amd when it was $2
you may get a small return from vega/zen launch
>r9k

no, no, no, no, no..
a thousand times no..
AMD wont raise anymore than it already has
NVIDIA you'll probably get a small but steady and reliable stream of income. AMD I dunno, seems kind of volatile.

No.

no, but if you want to invest in an upcoming manufacturer of lithium batteries and electrical cars in China, I recommend the BYD Co. That company is significantly undervalued.
There's a lot of attention on AMD now and a lot of dumb hype. If Zen looks good then yeah the stock will be going places. But any bad news could scare off the casuals.
Myself I already made my 30% and am in wait and see mode.
