Together with two fellows, we decided to start some business related to civil engineering. We are graduating this year and were talking about doing some business. But as we are just starting, we are having some trouble trying to find a name to the firm. The name must be short, we tried something like putting latim word like opus, prime, aurum and shit like that, but is not ok. Could you guys give some names?
In which country are you located?

Brazil, but the name doesn't need to make any sense in portuguese at all

Torres GĂȘmeas Arquitetura LTDA.
I like somethin related to memes, like snek or some
Who will insure the work of two graduates?
>>1661763
Actually we already work on this, making projects at the moment. But we want to start our own job intead of being employers of someone else.

Fair enough. Do you work for opus?
>>1661781
The Opus part came because "Magnum Opus", we thought it was a good ideia, but in the and didn't work that well, seems off somehow
I don't know how it works in hueland, but in the states, you have to licensed as a Professional Engineer to do any real engineering work.
I suppose it wouldn't matter, seeing the engineering fiascoes that went on during the Olympics down there.

We will do the license part as well, right after the graduation. I asked for names and not for what happens in my country. Every country has it owns fiascoes
I don't know how the work situation is in Brazil but coming from s civil engineering student here in Canada I would strongly recommend work experience. What I do in internships and our design projects has almost nothing to do with what I learner in school (subdivision design / storrn water management / grading )
Call it fianna. Irish word for warrior or soldier.

I assume you're both mature students who have already had 5-10 years business experience in a relevant industry, correct? Because no fresh-faced graduate in their early 20s is going to start a conventional engineering business and make it successful.
