OT you get good money for unskilled labor. Let us know your field and we can help you further. Maybe you can find something that pays well that's actually in your field. Also are you at smu, UTD or uta?

look for graduate, teacher, or research assistant positions. talk to professors, ask department faculty, etc.

my uni offers a generous stipend as well as a 9 credit waver, so defiently try to see what's out there.

Assuming it is stem, do what>>1660499 said. Network with professors especially. Get As in your classes to earn the professors respect and go to their hours. Straight up ask them about opportunities in your field.

I work as a tutor and sessions are $20 an hour. It helps because the parents love me which means I'll be recommended a lot. I don't plan to do it after college but it's a good gig. Also, 25 an hour for act tutoring. Only downside is I don't work everyday so I'm trying to get more appointments.
