I think what >>1660685 is trying to say is that the effort required to, not only brainstorm, but actually implement the upfront work that is required to set up something after which you're computer earns you $10 / month by just sitting idle is simply not worth it. For example, I don't know the first thing about bots or botting anything. The hours of research, learning how to bot, setting up a bot and blabla... for someone like me, this could easily take weeks before I actually have a working set-up that will earn me passive income of $10 a month. Instead, I could do some day-trading in those couple of weeks that would easily net me $2,000 - 5,000. Opportunity cost, get it?

it could be botting runescape (or name any other mmo) to farm levels and gold where you later resell on a marketplace. or running spam bots to promote your (insert any affiliate product) website. this strategy requires weeks of research and preparation. not for most people who are looking for "easy".
