The correct way to do long-term passive investment is to sock money into blue-chip stocks and Vanguard whole-market ETFs.

Would Kevin O'learys fund be a good idea?

Rules for you long term investing:
1. Time in the market beats timing the market. (For proof see papers by Dichev, for example)
2.PICK THE LOWEST FEE fund you can find.
(A few basis points difference in fee can eat a ton of profit on a long term)
3. Get some whole market ETF's or index funds. Personally I just went 33% S&P500, 33% world index, 33% emerging markets.
4. If you are really long term go 100% stocks, no bonds.

Why so much USA?
You overweigh EM because of their GDP (I suppose) and them completely fuck up your US/Europe GDP balance?

Eh I'm from Europe. Using the USA part as a hedge against failing Euro prices.
Commodities bitch. They cheap now.
Exponentially increasing global population means more demand for finite natural resources.
