In wich European country self employed person are not ruined by taxes ? In my country ( France ) this shit is insane. They take you 28% of your net sales every trimester, and 47% of your benefits every year. I worked on my projet for 3 years, and started to do undeclared work because I don't want to be fucking slave. So, I plan to leave, but where ? ( in Europe ) help me to choose.
>>

Nowhere. Europe pays for entire other nations with the tax revenue of their populations.

as i've found it you can be free and move to a more dangerous country that will not enforce the laws or carry out tax fraud against you (eastern european nations, latin america) or you can live in a safe country but be taxed.

But in those countries people have low wages and very little to no disposable income.

If they had decent wages and disposable income, it would be taxed.

If you are paying taxes in France, you are doing it wrong. There are many way to avoid them : you can declare your rent, your car, your travel expenses, your food, your phone, your laptop... as charges for your company and deduce it from your benefits. Then you have all the niche fiscales in real estate and investment (use participation and interessement in your company). And if you are that desperate you can still pacs with a foreign student so your income is divided by 2.

well unless you want to buy something of course, because the 27% vat is flat out insane.

but if you want to live in minimalist style, and spend as little as you can get away with and save the rest it shouldn't be that big an issue.

Here in Spain is even worse, mate. Lots of desperate unemployed people are encouraged by the government to start being self-employed and they lose all their savings paying taxes and end up broke.
>>
>>1643838
In the US it's normal to pay 30-50% on income from self-employment.

Just make more money if it bothers you. That's why self-employed people here charge $75-$125/hour.

I'm self employed in the US and we usually get taxed at around 35% and you have to pay your own medical at twice the regular rate.

The only way to stay above water is to mess with the books by not reporting certain cash sales. For example, on paper I'm making $75k a year, but in reality it's more than twice that. It is risky, but as long as you do it right you're fine. Also, part of my business is cash based which makes it pretty straight forward.

Also, people will scare you with the IRS ect, etc. But it's mostly white knights who are wage cucks and don't know shit. You need to take short-cuts in life in order to get ahead. Just ask trump. This fool is my idol. 3,500 lawsuits under his belt, and they made the fucker president. It doesn't get any more BOSS than that. He can look at you in the eyes and tell you that you have a vagina between your legs, and you will believe him once his team of lawyers and twitter are done with you.
>>
>>1643838
Russia

10% flat tax. Also I've heard the stuff about having to pay protection money to a 'vor' to keep from getting your office firebombed or whatever is way overblown and things don't really work like that there anymore.
>>

>>
>>1643838
Well, if you are being self-employed without having a company, you are a fool.

If you have a company you deduct expenses.

If you have the ability to deduct expenses you also have the ability to pay nothing in tax. If you don't know how, educate yourself.
>>
>>1645838
>Well, if you are being self-employed without having a company, you are a fool.
when you're self-employed you become a company.

self-employed people deduct business expenses whether they have a formal company or not. Because you ARE a formal business when you make your own money.

>>
>>1645967
so you know of a country that doesn't tax the income of the self-employed?

because as soon as they tax you, you're in business.
>>
>>1643838

> but ma universal health care
>>
>>1645970
>you know of a country that doesn't tax the income of the self-employed?
I know of plenty of countries that have different tax rates for a person that registers as self-employed vs one that goes and registers a Ltd company or icorporates in another fashion.

I also know of countries that have different deduction rules for different types of corporations vs sole traders.
>>
>>1645975
yet in none of those countries is a self-employed person not a business, or unable to take business deductions.

it's ok, you're not the only person on /biz/ that makes that mistake. I've made thousands of dollars in the last month alone just sitting here explaining 7 times a day that you can own a business without incorporating.

I assume most of you are 12 and have no clue about business.
>>
>>1645978
>I still make broad sweeping statements about 196 jurisdictions.
>I still don't get it.
>I imply that I am not arguing like a 12-year old.
>>
>>1645981
I'm not arguing.
I'm stating facts and you're trying to think of some third world dictatorship where I might be wrong.

I don't really care about you're hurt feelings. If you think you need to incorporate a business to take business deductions you are quite simply mistaken. That is all. Nobody cares if you're mistaken, just look it up and stop being mistaken.
>>
>>1645984
>you're trying to think of some third world dictatorship
Muh strawman is prolly gonna fix my false claim

>If you think you need to incorporate a business....
Now if the first strawman did not work, maybe the second will. I hope so.
>>
>>1645995
I notice you don't know of a single country where you're right and I'm wrong.
>>
>>1646002
Since we are leaning towards France, why don't you go here to shoot your own illusion apart. Regardez, different tax for sole traders vs other types of corporation. Sole traders are taxed under personal income brackets, and hey presto, they can only deduce 10% of work-related expenses. To juxtapose with other corporate forms that are 100%.

http://www.expatica.com/fr/finance/Corporate-taxes-and-self-employment-in-France_445980.html
>>
>>1646016
>If you are a sole trader (enterprise individuelle or EI) then you and your business are one legal entity

see, you can't be self-employed and not be a business in France. You are legally a business when you're self-employed.

just like the US and every other country I'm aware of.
>>
>>1646027
>see, you can't be self-employed and not be a business in France
>I like arguing points that nobody has made.

Nice way of missing the points of 10% deduction vs 100%.

So to tie into the OP's point. If you stay a sole trader in France you will lose. If you get a LtD or equivalent and work on your deductions you pay no tax and don't have to move anywhere.
>>
>>1646034
>Nice way of missing the points of 10% deduction vs 100%
It's also not 0% and you didn't read the part where you may be taxed under a different business rate instead.
>points that nobody has made
>>1645838
>if you are being self-employed without having a company, you are a fool.
my point is that you legally cannot be self-employed and not have a business.

Nor do you need to "have a company" to claim business deductions because when you're self-employed you ARE a company.

as the link you so kindly posted says.
