Hey all,
I've worked in the tech industry for about 4 years and I want to make more money.
I'm considering switching to a caterer in business/finance. How do I make this happen?
I have a bs in physics and I know some programming languages including C++ and Python. Also have "business analyst" experience.
Would my skill set be appealing to anyone in the industry? How should I approach this?

Currently making 60k in the Midwest, although I'm willing to move.
The dream is to eventually be a big wig and get to the low to mid 6 fig range

Why are you only making 60k as a programmer in the midwest?
Move to Chicago, programmers with a few years experience can make $100k+

I agree that I'm underpaid but my cost of living is also insanely low.
