Why do people say pro-EPA is anti-business? Do people want businesses to pollute the environment? I see a lot of anti-EPA sentiments among Republicans

EPA is a weapon that companies favored by the administration can use against competitors.
I don't know that they do much else.
>>
They are a complete failure at protecting the environment at a cost of millions of jobs and billions of dollars. Why do you think that's a good plan?
>>
Because the EPA puts regulations in place that ultimately cause energy prices to be higher.

EPA regulations are the main reasons the coal industry is doing poorly and a key reason why Trump won coal country.

Republicans want cheap energy for max profits.

Maybe we can loosen some of the regulations, but I think most of the regulations that the EPA has put into place are necessary in stopping some of these energy companies from trashing the environment.

I'm sure there are ways that companies can make money while still protecting the environment.

Apart from the river incident are there other examples of how the EPA has failed to protect the environment. The media only talks about cutting down pollution so I'm ignorant about this.

Nah man. Just age old overreach. They can claim your pond is navigable water and make u drain it. Fines. Shit like that.

I have to wear a life preserver if i start a water pump. Have to wear fall protection with a 4 foor lanyard 3 feet off the ground.

People get sick of dealing with this shit.

Fucking D.O.T. can shit down a brand new truck off the showroom floor because the average person can't even keep up with all the bullshit rules.
