I always get pissed off when I see this question. The answer is obvious. Post content that is interesting and worthy of attention. It isn't easy - especially considering how painfully boring and one dimensional most people's lives are.

1) post good content
2) follow people in your niche
that's the tl;dr version.
you could of course google this and read paragraphs upon paragraphs of guides.

For fuck sakes, there's no such thing as "social media marketing". It's a term made up by cunts who have never worked a proper, reputable marketing job in their lives. And those cunts made it up to cater to naive people like you, people who are always looking for the next 'online money making trick'.

What you're actually doing is called direct marketing. Social media just happens to be the channel you are using to build your list.

Read up and get some experience in direct marketing first, then you may stand a chance at making a reasonable amount of money. But that's probably too much effort.
