Aged care is very dependent on government regulation, REG/EHE and JAP are the big ones and took a dip earlier a few months ago based on that - Lot of uncertainty regarding that so higher degree of risk

I found out about NOX through reading through ASX floats, it peaked my interest but seemed too expensive when it was being floated. When I saw that it had dropped to 14 cents I saw it as an easy flip.....just wish I had held it longer.

Originally when I purchased MND it was more based off of their financials and seeing them as a high value share. Incredibly high dividend and working in the mining sector which was picking up at the time I purchased them. I have not looked into their ownership or sales of assets.

Is anyone watching the MZN / KDR beef? I bought into MZN on the chance that they are right. This is a gamble, but they're either right, in which case the stock bags multiple times - or they're wrong and the stock value halves nothing they still hold tenements with nearology. Shit is interesting as fuck.

Check IDO

They are in the same position NSL was in a few years back - I've done well in that space.

IDO have their plans, their costing, their resources and are well on track. Their current hold up is research into lead-in infrastructure, once thats sorted its onto JV or offtake agreements.

They've also picked up a side income providing mining services

Moving forward, they will be protected somewhat by the Indonesian changes next year with exports as they will be building a beneficiation plant that will take feed stock from more than their own sources.

I'm sure someone mentioned KNM was just a reject shop version of 3PL, who happens to be doing well in this space. Their products would want to be fantastic in every way to make any real earnings in the industry - educational software is a difficult sell at the best of times. Look at the trouble FUN had with Leapfrog and growing its sales base - the licence was revoked in june and taken back over by the lead company with a plan to rapidly expand the 'leapfrog universe' on non leapfrog devices - i.e google & apple app stores.

IAM may have a chance to grow, if they move away from the "tech support" model for financial data. Their current downfall is they use a step by step/checklist system without deviations for their customers - so it is very OneSize at this point. There is another group in WA about to RTO a mining shell who uses a one on one approach to financial services, and centralises the data to allow movement throughout their 'network' ausgrid or something like it -i only remember it because its an electrical group with a giant sign in Sydney. They're in managed funds, real estate, financial planning and a handful of related areas - More than 146 compliant so safe if there are changes.

CKL will more than likely fall victim to the export issues next year, and the 10 year phase out of foreign owned mines unless they are looking to upgrade or process their resources before export. I read somewhere they are looking at selling it in country to a third party/sovereign owned group - BMM or something like it. It will circumvent most of the taxation on sales and transport. PWC can confirm coking coal is under the purview of the mining act and its revisions.

I agree it is like ringing up tech support. You do have your own team that work only for you but there is about a 1-2 month integration time to make it "work".

Anyways from what I gleaned in Sydney at one of the presentations, the company is growing at around 20-30 staff a month and has been swamped by demand. Expecting news about the sentry pilot soon and news about another MOU in mid december (after a board meeting to be held ) and that has a very good chance of being NAB or AMP.
When Mark Fisher was speaking to us from India, he said that he was there in part so the MOU could inspect the offices.

'Perception of Value'
Its the key metric every retailer from the floor guys up should use for their business. I say should because it is a matter of opinion as to whether or not it is actually used.

When i ran sales teams in consumer electronics I taught them to focus on two things features and benefits - which are the basics "this does that so you can do this' and adding value.
Perception of Value is exploited both in monetary and sentimental 'language'. Providing a deal and focusing on the items in the deal, and the money saved when putting them together with your primary item as well as their features and benefits hit both of those.
If you master that space, you can sell just about anything.

Factor it in with 'Good - Better - Best' and 'Confirmation Bias' and anything you come up with will be gold plated goodness compared to the rest.

I think the main thing they are looking at is the rollout. They seem to do just enough to meet the risk criteria under ASIC regulations so they can grow fast and as they grow they can tweak the back end. If they get NAB or AMP, especially AMP they will be able to quickly pivot their financial guidance to make it more tailored.
The way i see it now is its a big warehouse that picks one of three forms - high, medium, low risk - and smashes its customers into those boxes. Thats what i meant by robotic and cookie cutter. I've worked with AMP in the past and they are experts at finding the right fit for their customers. If IAM can take on or amalgamate some of those basics into their back end and roll them out across their current network - imagine the potential. But they'll have to move quick. There are others in the same space coming who have tried and true systems that have worked for years.

I'm looking for anything on the ASX that is into Tyre recycling. Anything close to it used as either energy or feed stock for another process. There was a semi-takeover of Pearl that seemed to fail - another like it would be great.

What is going on with FCR? Is it a dud company or is JT actually making things happen? It took him months to get the GoldQuest acquisition done, now regarding moonlight we're waiting on a supposed joint venture but for news due at the end of "this year" it's looking unlikely.

Good to great levels of DR elements in their pellet iron, making it ideal for structural steel manufacture and they have infrastructure setup - specifically power which is a bitch at the best of times.

GoldQuest will be a nothing for 6 months to a year. Once they announce a finding for assay they'll get a bump. It's driven hard by the spot price on zinc, so pending on grade. I would think something in the range of 25 - 30% at a minimum to make it work.

There are already offtakes in place, adding value, and if they reach out to the chinese, Wei Hua Group for example, they can get a plant thrown together in about 6 months.

Wei Hua is one i see come up a lot. They have a model where they usually allow a 50/50 joint venture with no capital - they provide the equipment - but they get first take on iron stocks. The other party is allowed to source and sell anything else, as there is no limit. In Africa the group has a huge crane manufacturing plant, so that might play into their favour. A long shot, but its the first thing i thought of after reading the 'state of affairs' for FCR.
