This app, Slide Joy, allows you to make money by having their pop up ads on your phone.
My question is what if I gathered up a bunch of old androids and had them all do the swipe gesture 24/7
would that make me a significant amount of beer money?
Does any of you have experiences with such things and if you do did you build a rig? How much money did you make? Which website/app did you use?
Why don't you try it and find out? Just take action man, jeez.
Be sure to write a blog post about it later so everyone can take the shortcut while only you put the effort to learn everything the hard way. /s
I can almost guarantee you things are typically never as easy as they seem, especially if you've haven't put your nose to the grindstone. My advice is read every word of their ToS because if you break any of it, your account will be terminated and funds denied.

Yeah I just wanted to see if any of you had experiences with these kind of stuff maybe there's a better way to do it than Slide Joy.

My experience is likely not yours. I played with PTC briefly when I was a teen learning about all the ways to earn money online. My time now is worth more than the few dollars it rewards you with.
I wonder if you could emulate a bunch of androids on a PC and accomplish the same thing.
There's a similar app that doesn't require any input. Makes about $3 a month
Why not just get a job instead? The amount of money you'll make micromanaging all these devices isnt even worth 10 minutes at a min wage job

they're going to all need to be on different networks, this wont work if they're all ont he same network i believe.

you remember the name?

This hit the nail on the head.
You might as well use your phone budget on buying hardware to mine crypto. My hardware is nothing special. I ran a miner just to get benchmarks and made $90/mo. My time investment was under an hour learning how to set everything up and withdrawal earnings.
You might be able to use software like bluestacks to accomplish same thing as mentioned by >>1614808, but don't be fooled. You will need a lot of hardware to emulate multiple instances of android simultaneously.
Then you have to worry about spoofing IMEI, gps location, MAC address, IP address, and possibly other things to cover your butt. I haven't read their ToS, but most services like this don't want you doing this sort of thing.

Do you have some instructions how to set up a miner or an article I should read? What are your benchmarks?

My cpu is 3.4ghz, quad core. used 60% of it when mining.
Miner: https://github.com/nicehash/nheqminer/releases
Wallet: https://copay.io/#download
Monitor: https://www.nicehash.com/
1. install copay on your phone.
2. create a wallet on copay
3. copy your wallet ID
4. download the miner
5. create a new .bat file inside the miner directory
6. edit the file to say "nheqminer.exe -l usa -u Your-Wallet-ID -p x -od 0 -t 4"
7. change the -t flag to increase/decrease cpu usage (0-7) the lower the number the less cpu usage
7. run the bat file you just created
8. visit https://www.nicehash.com/?p=miners&addr=Your-Wallet-ID to monitor it
Monitor your temperatures with a tool like speedfan so nothing overheats. I used "-t 3" comfortably.
It's happening lads
