but the truth is you don't get to be the boss without a strong bullshit detector. Also your words over time will need to match reality and what others report. If you lie a lot people will notice.

honest people don't usually pause to think before speaking. That's the main way I know. If you're comfortable with your truth you'll speak it without having to think about it.

an honest person can say things that make them look bad when they have to.
