a few reason, the way the mining aspect is setup, for the first few days only xxx can be mined, therefore keeping supply very low. Another reason is just hype, the bots and shit liek that. This will go to eth prices very soon, if not earlier. Its like a still born baby...

No it is not, it's the hype. It's finding a bottom now, it's gonna take at least the slow month to do so.
I mined 0.01 on first day, ~0.002 on second day two mid-tier gaming desktops and 2 old notebooks.
The desktops are not mining ZCash the whole time, about 60% uptime.
Make ~50 bucks so far.

I don't think it was ever 18.50 per coin, it's been "mooned" since the first moment it was on Polo. And nobody was actually buying a full coin at those massive 7 digit prices. So it's not like an easy profit could have actually been made the way you're probably thinking. Still probably worth mining right now though.

The first few trades when it was released on Polo were for hundreds and even thousands (I think highest was 3600 btc for ONE vec) but that's because there was only a fraction of a coin worth of supply and it had a lot of hype. I don't anything about what earlier investers got in at before it was tradable though.
