The question isn't what it's worth now, but if you have a business plan to leverage it's high volume traffic and brand recognition.

Think of it this way, if you lost half of 4chan's traffic, yuge traffic

The volume is immense, you can comfortably sacrifice a lot of that volume too because a lot of it isn't profitable -- adblockers, NEETs who don't buy anything etc.

If you're in the market for traffic volume, 4chan is a bargain.
You just need a strategy, I think some kind of vertically integrated e-commerce is the way to go. Advertising won't work because brands are pansies and don't want their ads because they don't want to imagine what anti-social stuff their ads will be served on.

4chan could learn a lot from alternative news sites and Glenn Beck about how to monetize a fringe community.

4chan could easily brand extend also to fill the void that Vice's progressive move towards more predictable, buzzfeed quality journalism has created... at which point it could move towards predictable buzzfeedy content itself and make bazillions.
