Yes. What I would suggest is taking a piece of paper and making a list of all the brokers you are considering. Call each one and talk to a representative, take notes on the pros and cons of each. See what their capital requirements are, commission rates, customer support, etc. That way, you can make an informed decision for yourself instead of relying on advice from anonymous penny stock chasers on a Mongolian goat trading forum.

Look, for all sell there needs to be a buy side. If you're an independent day trader, you need a good terminal. You need a certain stock and a company you're more familiar with than I am with your mum and sisters vaginas. Trust me, I know every working girl at the strip better than what I have right now in my pockets.
You need a great deal with a broker, who is willing to buy from you if no one else is willing. You won't get either with these petty sums. No broker is giving industry privileges to little ass hats with bullshit amounts. If it ever goes below 25k, your broker will hold your shit for ransom until the margin is paid off. Day trade is no longer sit in front of terminal all day, no it is a microsecond trade where you need to be close to an index, nor do you fuck with random ass stocks. You get a specialised field where you know what you're doing. Will you be doing PIP trade, Forex, Quarterly reports or specialising in IPO's, you do realise with IPO's you need to be a whale to get first in? You fucking put in the strikes priorhand, you don't sit there and look. You'll get slaughtered by a stop-hunterbot within one day.
