I couldn't find a stupid question thread, so here's mine.
I've got $3 in my paypal account, car broke down and lost my job...blah blah blah it's all shit atm. Need to make some cash to buy a bicycle to get to work when I find one.
Are there investment companies that allow shit low purchases? I've only found ones >$4.95

Figured this would of been pruned/archived/deleted by now.
Had it my head that I could just invest a buck or two, sell when a bit of profit, then do that a ln insane amount of times. Starting to think it doesn't work that way.
I did this a friend of mine worked at Walmart, had him auto transfer $25 per paycheck into stock purchases within the company, then just gave him the cash, made 9-15% profit investing in July, then selling in holiday months
