Depends on what career you are going into. Higher paying careers can be worth I worked part time at a bookstore on weekends through college, but I did it mostly because i enjoyed it. My advice to you would be find a job that you actually enjoy. Then you could save a bit and drop it all on your debt when you get out of college.

Get an internship or relevant work experience. If I came across a recent grad's resume with literally no work experience I would never call them back for being such a lazy shit for 4 years.

If the job experience is related to what you want to do and will help you get a career after college then yes. If not, just do an internship. Or do both. But don't get stuck with just retail/food service on your resume.
