Forgot to say, I and inflated my salary when applying so had to shop the stub to match

The recruiter is probably not going to ring up your past employer asking how much you were paid. If they did that why would they bother asking you.

If, for whatever reason, give you a reduced offer, say the deal is off unless they stick to the original offer. They've already decided they want you, so you have the power

The fake stub was already sent a couple weeks ago. I since was told everything is a go by the company. So I'm either starting the job or backing out in the next week. 40% raise will be nice, but having no job and fired for cause will feelbatman

Did you inflate the taxes withheld too or just the gross amount and net amount?
