>be me

>girlfriend makes 60k/year at a really small tech company
Her business partner has suggested recently that I could make extra money working as a bookkeeper for some similar small company in my spare time. I'm great with numbers but I have no professional experience bookkeeping, my job is totally unrelated to finance. He says I don't need any actual qualifications to be a bookkeeper, I'm wondering how realistic this is. Anyone have bookkeeping experience or advice? Any resources that might help me learn?
Don't have any advice for you. But tell me how are you people finding jobs in Canada ? I'm struggling to land my first job in Canada with a bachelor's in finance and accounting.
You should email me any positions available in your network or kik mocohocarolyn

I wish I could help you. I spent a few years struggling to find work related to my education and now I drive a delivery truck. It sounds sad but I do really enjoy it...
Not sure if I can do that. I guess I'll keep looking lol

How do I become a truck driver senpai?
Do you have a spare e-mail I can use to communicate with you after the thread dies?

there's usually a truck driver thread on /o/
I started driving a small truck for a really sketchy moving company. a standard ontario drivers license lets you drive vehicles up to 25k pounds. with a bit of experience i got a decent job pretty easily.
I'd try UPS or FedEx or Canpar or Purolator or DHL

So you started by driving "trucks" (don't know their exact name in English) then you moved to 18 wheelers?
Also, in what city do you live and what are your typical monthly living expenses?

he is fucking her
New to Canada under the skilled worker program. First landed in Vancouver earlier this year after a month there realized there are not many jobs for finance and accounting professionals specially if you're an immigrant.
Got back to my home country and now planning on landing in Toronto but still have no job offer. I'm working with Acces employment atm.
Btw I'm the same guy who first replied to this thread asking about how to get a job here

I've worked as a bookkeeper for two places. Both don't want bookkeepers. They wanted office managers. People to answer the door / phone and do he books. It sucks being interrupted doing math.
