Always be skeptical of any broker offering a bonus - it's because they know they will get you.

Use an ECN broker such as Pepperstone that uses Metatrader.

I did my research on Forex, wanted to give it a go, tried their demo account. Every order was filled exactly. I was doing well for a month with fake money - woo!

This was not true when I went live. Orders would fill higher / lower than my stops. On several trades that would be very profitable for me during the news cycles - my trade would not go in at all.

They are a bucket shop - meaning, it's gambling. There is no actual money being held for you. Therefore, this is literally no reason these orders should not be filled unless they are nuking them.

They have the mentor / follow feature where traders can trade for you. The issue with this is the ones that shoot to the top are ones who took extremely risky trades and it paid off. A very small amount of people.

Problem is, they continue to trade extremely risky, and time after time, those traders failed, along with your holdings.

Their commissions are insane relative to the other brokers.

Honestly, look up an ECN. They have no reason to fuck you over. I like Pepperstone since it's in a first world nation - Australia - not some Cyprus bullshit. It's worth learning Metatrader too.
