A thunderbolt 3 USB port would be nice.

However, durability, comfortable typing, and longevity are my biggest concerns (with a nice screen). Speed is important also.

I love SSDs. The speed for loading things is amazing.

long story short lenovo used to be THE god-tier of laptops in every field. In recent years they started getting greedy and the incident that really pushed a lot of consumers away was called the "superphish" incident. They preinstalled a bunch of bloatware on their laptops and had massive security issues and fucked over lots of people. There are ongoing lawsuits still and they may never recover.
